Hello!
I hope and pray that you are all doing well. Shining God’s glory and living in His presence!
I am so grateful to be able to greet you after my first year at the University of Virginia. I was blessed through so many people and experiences. I can’t form the right words to explain.
One of those great experiences came through a retreat during my first semester. I attended the Servants Retreat where I received my calling. Going into college, I planned to become a medical missionary. I wanted to succeed as a pediatrician and then go overseas to a needy community to serve with my skill set in one hand and a Bible in the other. But our God had different plans.
During a time of prayer, God gave me one word: missionary. And since then, I have been pursuing a graduate education at a seminary after my undergraduate years. I have just begun on this incredible journey but I am so excited and eager to see what more God has in store for me. I want to thank all of you for being with me and praying for me.
Also, I want to ask you to join me on a journey! I have been praying and praising fearlessly in my dormitory at UVA for the nation of Thailand. I prayed that God shows mercy on this nation and that he would reign in this land with his might hand. And God, ever so faithful, answered my prayers.
I am privileged to return to Thailand for the second summer as one of three leaders, leading a group of nine high school graduating seniors. From July 3rd to the 18th, we are going to be leading five days of VBS and ten days of English school to the local high/middle/elementary schools. I can already hear the children singing along, eager to hear the good news.
I want to invite you to join me in prayer and through financial support. I would be so happy to have all of you on board with me as I do my best to further the kingdom of God. My goal is to raise $2,100 for this trip! Even if you cannot support me with financial aid, I would love to have you with me in prayer.
